Sometimes you need someone dependable to check in on someone you care about when you can't be there yourself.

Our Wellness Check-In Visit provides friendly companionship, general support, and light assistance to help your loved one feel connected and supported.

This service is ideal for families who may be working, traveling, living out of town, or simply unable to visit their loved one when they would like.

What's Included

Companionship & Social Interaction

Friendly conversation, listening, reading, games, activities, social interaction, and general encouragement.

General Wellness Check-In

A friendly, non-medical check-in to observe your loved one's general well-being and identify obvious concerns that may need to be communicated to an authorized family member or contact.

Light Home Assistance

While we're there, we can provide limited assistance such as bringing in mail, watering plants, light tidying, or preparing a simple snack or light meal using food already in the home.

Light Pet Assistance

We can feed a household pet and refresh its water during the scheduled visit. This does not include pet sitting, dog walking, veterinary care, or extended animal care.

Basic Home Environment Check

We can observe the immediate home environment for obvious concerns, such as an unlocked door, unusual indoor temperature, or visible water leak, and report concerns when appropriate.

This is not a professional home inspection, security service, or continuous home-monitoring service.

Facility Visits

We can provide companionship visits at assisted-living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or rehabilitation facilities when permitted by the facility.

Family Update

With the client's permission, an authorized family member or contact can receive a general update following the visit.

Who May Benefit?

This service may be helpful for older adults living independently, adults who would enjoy additional companionship, individuals returning home after an illness or procedure who do not require medical care from us, loved ones residing in care facilities, and families who are temporarily unable to visit.

What's Not Included

The Wellness Check-In Visit is designed specifically for companionship, check-ins, and light assistance.

It does not include regular house cleaning, laundry service, grocery shopping, general errand running, lawn or snow services, ongoing pet care, bill-payment assistance, appointment management, client transportation, or other ongoing household-support services.

Need these services regularly? Our $650 Monthly Home Support Package provides access to a broader selection of non-medical household and personal-assistance services for up to 4 hours each week.

Important Information

This is a non-medical service. We do not provide nursing care, medical assessments, diagnosis or treatment, medication administration, hands-on personal care, psychotherapy, professional counseling, or emergency monitoring.

If a medical or life-threatening emergency occurs during a visit, 911 or the appropriate emergency service will be contacted.

Client transportation is not provided.

Additional time may be available for $40 per hour, subject to availability and prior approval.

Purchases made on behalf of the client are not included in the service price.
